The Indiana Local section of American Chemical Society ACS aqualifies for tax exempt status under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. ,It is a U.S. not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of encouraging the advancement of chemistry; promoting research in chemical science and industry; increasing and diffusing chemical knowledge; and promoting scientific interests and inquiry through its meeting reports papers and publications.
