Our Story
The American Amputee Soccer Association was founded in 1980 by Don Bennett, an amputee dedicated to creating competitive sports opportunities for individuals with limb differences. This vision has fostered a supportive community, inspiring countless amputees to engage in soccer and leading to the establishment of the first national amputee soccer team.
Impact
AASA has organized national tournaments, training camps, and awareness campaigns, significantly increasing participation in amputee soccer and providing a platform for athletes to compete at high levels.
