Our Story
The American Academy for Professional Law Enforcement New York City, Inc. (AAPLE) was established in 1974 through the merger of two pioneering organizations dedicated to enhancing law enforcement standards. With a diverse membership that includes city, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as private corporations and academic institutions, AAPLE serves as a vital forum for addressing contemporary law enforcement challenges. Monthly meetings, guest lectures, and professional networking opportunities foster collaboration and innovation in the field.
