AmericaShare was inspired by a young boy in Nairobi who needed help to afford a school uniform. Lorna Macleod, an employee of Micato Safaris, provided the necessary funds, leading to the realization that Micato could connect wealthy travelers with impoverished communities in Africa. This connection became the foundation of AmericaShare, dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children through education.
