Our Story

In October of 1991, Amber was born into the Turner family, the youngest of four. Surrounded by love from her parents, siblings, and a supportive community, Amber's journey began. Embracing the challenges of raising a child with Down Syndrome, her family sought every available intervention to aid in her development. After high school, Amber pursued her dream of studying Culinary Arts at Shepherds College. As she nears graduation, Amber's aspirations for independent living and community engagement inspire the creation of Amber Grace Community.
