Our Story

Amazon Outreach began in 1999 when a group of short-term missionaries felt called to share the message of Jesus with the villagers along the Amazon River Basin in Brazil. Recognizing the need for better access to these remote communities, they constructed mission boats to facilitate their outreach efforts.
