Kern County Athletic All-Stars, founded in 2004 by Coach Ron Ryan, began as a family team and blossomed into a vibrant community initiative. By 2009, the team had participated in several National Championship events, and by 2013, it expanded to 75 members, achieving district and regional championships.
With over $1.26 million raised in scholarships, nearly 300 kids have been able to attend national championships, winning 575 national medals along the way.
