Our Story

The Amanda Rose Laura Foundation was established to honor Amanda Rose Laura, who tragically passed away in 2017 at the age of 25. Amanda dedicated her life to enhancing educational opportunities for underprivileged students, particularly those growing up in poverty. Her experiences as an educator in Chicago revealed the stark disparities in educational access compared to her own upbringing in New Jersey. The Foundation aims to level the educational playing field by providing funding for programs that support disadvantaged students.
