Founded in 1989, Altrusa Hospitality House was established to offer a comforting "home away from home" for patients and their caregivers traveling to Green Bay for medical treatment. The initiative began with a request from the St. Vincent Cancer Center to the Altrusa Club of Green Bay, leading to the opening of a 3-bedroom facility. Over the years, the house expanded to a 12-bedroom facility in 2001, and in April 2023, it became its own 501(c)(3) organization, ensuring continued support for families in need.
