Our Story

Alström Angels was founded in March 2012 by Cassie Johnston and her family after their daughter, Bryce, was diagnosed with Alström Syndrome, one of the rarest and most devastating diseases. In the face of profound sadness, the Johnston family chose to create a positive impact, aiming to raise awareness, fund medical research, and support families affected by this rare condition. As their mission evolved, they recognized the opportunity to assist not only those with Alström Syndrome but also children and families in their West Texas community.
