Our Story
The Alpha-Bet Preschool, originally known as the Manassas Cooperative Preschool, was established in 1966 by concerned parents seeking quality preschool education in Prince William County. In 1968, it officially became Alpha-Bet School, Inc. Since 1970, the school has been located in the lower level of the Manassas Church of the Brethren, fostering a strong community relationship. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1993, Alpha-Bet School upholds high standards of safety and developmentally appropriate practices. In 2017, the school transitioned to a hybrid-cooperative model, allowing greater flexibility for working parents while encouraging their involvement.
