Founded in 1999 by Gail Montgomery Schwartz and Lauren Montgomery Anchill, Almost Home Animal Rescue League emerged from a deep commitment to the ‘never kill’ philosophy. Disturbed by the high rates of euthanasia in shelters, this mother-daughter duo created a sanctuary for homeless dogs and cats, ensuring they feel safe and loved until they find their forever homes.
