Our Story

The Allo Hope Foundation was founded in 2019 by Bethany Weathersby, driven by her personal experience with maternal alloimmunization and Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn (HDFN). After the tragic loss of her daughter Lucy due to inadequate care, Bethany dedicated herself to researching HDFN and collaborating with specialists to ensure better health outcomes for future pregnancies. This journey inspired the creation of a blog that evolved into the Allo Hope Foundation, aiming to provide essential education, support, and resources for families affected by these conditions worldwide.
