Our Story

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Krista Johnson, ALLMemphis emerged from a vision to enhance community-wide literacy. Recognizing the inequities in access to language and literacy, Dr. Johnson and her team developed a multi-sensory language program tailored for Title I public schools. This innovative approach utilizes the Orton-Gillingham method, making effective literacy education accessible to all students, regardless of their background.

ALLMemphis is currently serving over a thousand students, transforming their educational experiences and fostering a culture of literacy in Memphis.
