Allies in Arts

Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Drew Denny and Paco de Leon, Allies in Arts emerged from a personal experience of wage disparity and a commitment to uplift underrepresented voices in the creative industries. The organization has since created a supportive community for women, BIPOC, and queer artists, facilitating over 7,000 affirming gifts to trans youth and granting funds to more than 400 artists.

Impact

Allies in Arts has redistributed over a million dollars to marginalized artists, significantly enhancing visibility and support for underrepresented communities across the U.S.
