Our Story

Allied Community Services, Inc. has been a beacon of hope for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities since 1962. Founded by a dedicated group of parents advocating for their children, the organization has evolved from the Enfield Association for Retarded Children into a comprehensive service provider in Northcentral Connecticut. Over the decades, Allied has expanded its offerings to include group homes, vocational training, and community outreach programs, ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to the support they need.
