Our Story
The Alliance of Concerned Men (ACM) was founded in 1991 by Tyrone Parker and his high school friends, driven by a commitment to uplift neighborhood youth. Starting with limited resources, ACM has brokered over 80 peace agreements between rival gangs in Washington, DC, and has expanded its services to support at-risk youth and their families.
Impact
ACM serves over 7,000 youth and families each month, focusing on mentoring, counseling, and violence prevention. With a proven track record of over 30 years, ACM significantly enhances public safety and community well-being.
