Our Story

The Alliance for Global Justice, founded in 1998, has its roots in the Nicaragua Network established in 1979. This organization has a rich history of grassroots activism, particularly in solidarity with Nicaragua and other Latin American nations. By building a robust grassroots movement, it challenges U.S. economic and foreign policies that adversely affect marginalized communities.

Impact

Through successful grassroots movements and campaigns, the Alliance for Global Justice has influenced U.S. foreign policy and supported social justice initiatives across Latin America. Acting as a fiscal sponsor for over 90 projects, it provides essential support to organizations lacking their own tax-exempt status.
