Our Story

In the spring of 1958, Jason Natowitz gathered local business owners to create an event that would invigorate the Allentown neighborhood. This initiative led to the establishment of the Allentown Village Society and the inaugural outdoor art show, which drew 20,000 attendees. Over the decades, the festival has blossomed into a significant cultural event in Buffalo, thanks to the unwavering support of dedicated volunteers.

Our Impact

The Allentown Art Festival has contributed over $400,000 to local organizations and awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships, profoundly enhancing the arts community in Western New York.
