Our Story

All Voting is Local began as a response to the Shelby County v. Holder case, aiming to combat voter suppression and advance pro-voter policies. Launched in March 2018 by Hannah Fried, this initiative has grown into a powerful organization with over 50 staff members across eight states, collaborating with groups like the ACLU and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

Our Impact

In the 2022 election cycle, All Voting is Local successfully expanded access for more than 635,000 voters, focusing on over 60 counties that serve more than 21 million people of color. The organization is dedicated to dismantling barriers to voting and ensuring that every vote counts.
