Our Story

Founded in 2012 by passionate horse lovers in Las Vegas, the Local Equine Assistance Network (L.E.A.N.) is dedicated to rescuing horses and donkeys from neglect and abuse. Collaborating with local Animal Control, L.E.A.N. provides foster care and rehabilitation for these animals, ensuring they find loving homes.

Impact

Since its inception, L.E.A.N. has rescued over 80 horses and donkeys, successfully placing more than 60 into caring homes. The organization also provides sanctuary for those that cannot be adopted, ensuring a safe haven for their lifetime.
