All Hands Cultural Community Center

Our Story

All Hands Cultural Community Center, formerly the East Branch YMCA, was established on February 25th, 2019, after the Metropolitan YMCA Board of Directors donated the facility. This transformation aims to create a vibrant community hub that offers a variety of programs and services. Led by dedicated directors James W. Harris, Lucinda L. Kimbel, and Edward G. Downing, Sr., the center is committed to fostering a safe gathering place for residents and organizations focused on educational, economic, and community development.

Impact

The center actively supports the unemployed through classes, workshops, and job fairs, while also providing engaging activities for youth, young adults, and seniors, thereby enhancing community development and engagement.
