Animal Welfare and Education. ADR takes in homeless dogs in Massachusetts using a network of volunteer foster homes. We provide the necessary veterinary care (including sterilization), training, and find responsible permanent placements for each animal. All animals are from Massachusetts and many are transferred to ADR from local municipal animal control officers and nonprofit shelters. ADR is able to address many needs of these homeless dogs with resources unavailable in traditional shelters.
