About All 4 Paws
Founded in June 2011, All 4 Paws is dedicated to saving homeless, abandoned, and threatened dogs and cats. With a mission to provide a safe haven for these animals, All 4 Paws became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in late 2011. The organization established its shelter at 708 Petigru Drive in Pawleys Island, where it has rescued and placed over 8,000 animals into loving homes.
Our Journey
In its first year at the Waverly Road location, All 4 Paws rescued over 1,000 dogs and cats. The organization expanded its rescue efforts by saving animals from high-kill shelters and transferring them to other facilities. Recognizing the need for specialized care, the Compassion Fund was created in 2013 to support the rescue of animals with special needs.
In 2014, All 4 Paws moved to a newly renovated facility designed to provide a high-quality environment for rescued animals. The shelter features raised Mason dog kennels, ductless AC systems, and secure outdoor exercise areas, ensuring the health and well-being of the animals.
Impact in the Community
All 4 Paws has become a vital community resource, supplying over 168,500 pounds of pet food to families in need and partnering with local organizations to promote responsible pet ownership. The organization has facilitated thousands of free spay/neuter services and has played a crucial role in converting municipal shelters to no-kill facilities.
