The Alki Art Fair began in 1997 under the guidance of the Alki Community Center and its advisory council. For 14 years, it thrived with the support of Seattle Parks and Recreation and dedicated volunteers. In 2011, artists and community members transformed it into a nonprofit organization, continuing its legacy with an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
Committed to showcasing West Seattle’s premier summer art event, the Alki Art Fair celebrates arts and music while promoting art education and cultural diversity.
As a nonprofit, the Alki Art Fair relies on donations from individuals and businesses to sustain operations and present the annual Fair. Every dollar contributes to enhancing the community’s artistic experience, with 100% of donations directly supporting the Fair and related events.
