Our Story
Founded in 1987 as Omega Boys Club, Alive & Free is an international violence prevention organization based in San Francisco. Co-founded by Dr. Joseph E. Marshall, Jr., the organization redefines youth violence as a disease and employs the Alive & Free Prescription methodology to empower young people.
Impact
Alive & Free has achieved a remarkable 91% graduation rate among its participants, with 278 college graduates, including 33% who hold master's or PhD degrees. Thousands of young lives have been transformed, equipping them with the tools to resist violence and excel academically.
