In 2009, a diverse coalition of civic, business, religious, and educational leaders in Rockford came together to tackle declining student achievement and graduation rates. Inspired by Nashville's successful community education initiative, Alignment Nashville, Rockford became the first community to replicate this model, focusing on systemic change and collaboration across various sectors.

Our Impact

Alignment Rockford is dedicated to enhancing academic and lifelong success for youth in Rockford. By engaging community partners, the organization addresses critical gaps identified by Rockford Public School District 205, ensuring children are prepared to learn and thrive throughout their educational journey.
