Alignment Bay County, established in 2015, is a dedicated volunteer organization focused on aligning community resources to support youth from birth to career. With a strong foundation built by key community leaders and local business partners, ABC fosters collaboration through small working groups known as A-Teams. These teams identify and address gaps in service delivery, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
In 2020, ABC positively impacted over 4,000 children in Title I schools, enhancing literacy through our reading initiative. This program not only provides books but also educates parents on improving their child's reading comprehension. The Student Wraparound Achievement Team program has seen remarkable success, with 30% of students improving from failing to passing grades.
