Alianza Translatinx

Our Story

Alianza Translatinx is the first transgender-led organization by transgender people of color in Orange County, California. Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic by four transgender Latinx women, the organization strives to create inclusiveness for the transgender and gender non-conforming community. Initially focused on assisting the houseless TGNC community, Alianza Translatinx has expanded its services to include health education, linkage to care, and support for name and gender marker changes.

Impact

Through education, community empowerment, and social justice initiatives, Alianza Translatinx has significantly improved the quality of life for transgender and gender non-conforming people of color in Orange County.
