The Albrook School was founded in 1979 by Anita Albers and Carol Brooks in a small space rented at St. Mark’s Church in Basking Ridge. With a vision to educate the whole child, the school draws inspiration from Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy, emphasizing peace education and social responsibility. Over the years, Albrook has expanded its programs and facilities to meet the evolving needs of the community, nurturing culturally-aware and respectful citizens of the world.
For over 40 years, The Albrook School has provided a Montessori education that fosters independence, self-esteem, and a love of learning in children aged two through sixth grade.
