Our Story
The Alaska Institute for Justice is dedicated to protecting the human rights of all Alaskans, including immigrants, refugees, and Alaska Native communities. Established in 2005, AIJ has evolved from the Alaska Immigration Justice Project to address urgent legal needs and advocate for climate justice.
Impact
Since its inception, AIJ has served nearly 7,000 Alaskans, providing essential legal services and advocacy for vulnerable populations, including survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.
