The Alaska Arts & Culture Foundation (AACF) was established in 2001 to enhance the mission of the Alaska State Council on the Arts. With a generous donation from the Boochever family, the foundation manages four dedicated funds: The Connie Boochever Arts Endowment, the Helen Walker Performing Artists Fund, the Alaska Literary Awards, and the Margaret Nick Cooke Award for Alaska Native Arts & Languages. These funds are vital in promoting and supporting the rich arts culture in Alaska.
Since its inception, AACF has awarded 45 Connie Boochever Artist Fellowships and established the Alaska Literary Awards, providing essential support to Alaskan artists and organizations.
