Our Story

Alabama Non-Violent Offenders Organization (ANVOO) was founded to address the challenges faced by non-violent felons in restoring their rights. After one of the founders experienced the complexities of expunging a criminal record, the need for a supportive organization became clear. In 2009, ANVOO was established in Huntsville, Alabama, with a mission to inform and assist non-violent offenders in navigating the legal processes for voting rights restoration, pardons, and record expungement.
