Our Story
The Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation was established to promote health and wellness in the community through engaging running events. Since 2003, it has grown significantly, hosting various races that unite thousands of participants and volunteers each year.
Impact
In 2019, the Akron Marathon Race Series generated over $8 million in economic impact for the Greater Akron area, with participation from 15,000 runners and 120,000 spectators.
