Our Story
AID Upstate was founded in 1987 in response to the AIDS pandemic, initially addressing the needs of young gay men affected by an unnamed illness. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital consortium of health organizations and advocates, dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV in the Upstate region of South Carolina.
Impact
In the past year alone, AID Upstate has provided medical case management to over 1,300 individuals and conducted approximately 1,600 HIV tests, making a significant impact in the community.
