Aid for Women of Northern Lake County opened its doors in downtown Waukegan on April 1, 1983. This all-volunteer center is dedicated to educating and empowering women and men with essential decision-making information and resources regarding life choices. Services include free pregnancy testing, doctor referrals for prenatal care, and a maternity clothes lending closet, all at no cost to clients.
AFWNLC serves approximately 2,400 clients each year, providing vital guidance and support to pregnant women and mothers.
