About the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation

Established in 2020 by Wanda Cooper-Jones, the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation honors the legacy of Ahmaud Arbery, a young man whose life was tragically cut short. The foundation is dedicated to creating safe spaces for Black boys to engage in physical activities, particularly running, without fear or prejudice. By providing essential mental health resources and athletic training, the foundation empowers Black youth and promotes their overall well-being.
