Our Story

AgitArte began in Lynn, Massachusetts, as a youth popular education, hip-hop, and theater project. After 25 years, the vision of a popular education center is now a reality through Casa Taller Cangrejera in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Impact

AgitArte initiates and facilitates arts and cultural projects with grassroots communities, challenging U.S. cultural hegemony and advocating for the experiences of oppressed people.
