Agassiz Village is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing transformative opportunities for children in underserved communities from Massachusetts to Maine. For 88 years, this 330-acre overnight summer camp in Poland, Maine, has offered a unique learning program that encourages kids to discover their interests, develop new skills, and forge lifelong friendships.

Impact of Agassiz Village

Through exceptional summer camp experiences and year-round programming, youth at Agassiz Village cultivate critical leadership and life skills that positively shape their futures. In 2021, 95% of participants reported having positive adult role models, while 94% explored new activities, stepping out of their comfort zones. Additionally, 97% demonstrated gains in social and emotional learning capacities, enhancing their self-understanding and relationship-building skills.
