Agamim Classical Academy

Our Story

Inspired by a Hebrew language charter school in Brooklyn, NY, a dedicated group of parents and community members spent five years developing Agamim Classical Academy. The goal was to introduce Hebrew as a public school language option in Minnesota while providing an academically rigorous environment that fosters virtuous character and embraces foundational American values. With the support of generous funders and a federal charter-school start-up grant, Agamim opened its doors in the fall of 2015.

Impact

Since its inception, Agamim Classical Academy has grown from 74 students in grades K-4 to over 320 students in grades K-8. The school quickly outgrew its original location in Hopkins, MN, and moved to a larger facility in Edina in 2019. The academy is proud to celebrate its first graduating class and looks forward to many more successful years ahead.

Why Donate?

Agamim hosts several fundraising events throughout the year, including the November GiveMN campaign and the April Booster Fun Run. These initiatives, along with various Friend-Raisers, help sustain the school's mission.
