Our Story

Once carefree children in the beautiful land of Rwanda, the lives of many were forever altered by the brutal realities of war and genocide. The memories of laughter and play were replaced by the sounds of gunfire and cries for help. As refugees, many faced the harsh conditions of displacement, battling cholera, dehydration, and the trauma of loss. Yet, through the kindness of others, survival became possible. AGLAN was born from this resilience, with a mission to ensure that the voices of the forgotten are heard and that the cycle of violence is broken.
