The African-American Resource Center at Booker (AARCB) has a rich history dating back to 1916, originally serving as a community center for Colored Soldiers during the World Wars. Over the years, AARCB has evolved, merging with the Booker Washington Association in 2015, and continues to be a vital hub for education, art, and cultural programs in Rockford, Illinois.
