Our Story
The African American Breast Cancer Alliance (AABCA) was founded in October 1990 by a dedicated group of women who recognized the urgent need for culturally specific support and resources for Black women battling breast cancer. This organization is committed to raising awareness, providing education, and offering emotional and social support to breast cancer patients and survivors, particularly within the Black community, which faces higher mortality rates due to various barriers.
Impact
Since its inception, AABCA has positively impacted thousands of women by providing tailored education, support, and resources, significantly contributing to increased awareness and survivorship.
