Africa Fire Mission was founded in 2012 by David Moore after a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya. During this trip, he provided essential fire safety training to teachers and social workers at Mission of Hope International schools in the Mathare Valley slums. Witnessing the challenges faced by the under-resourced Nairobi Fire Service ignited a passion to improve fire safety across Africa.
