Our Story

The Afghan Girls Financial Assistance Fund was established to support Afghan women in their pursuit of education and empowerment, especially amidst the challenges posed by the Taliban's restrictions on women's rights. By providing financial assistance for education, facilitating scholarships, and creating opportunities, AGFAF aims to help Afghan girls and women thrive academically and socially.

Impact

AGFAF has successfully assisted 98 Afghan students, with 25% of graduates continuing their education in graduate programs and 10% founding their own nonprofits. The organization has awarded $10 million in scholarships and built six libraries in Afghanistan, which are currently closed due to the Taliban takeover. AGFAF continues to support Afghan students through online initiatives and innovative projects.
