Our Story
Founded in 1983 by John Lemaire, who was blind himself, the Affiliated Blind of Louisiana Training Center was established to fill a critical gap in rehabilitation services for the blind in Louisiana. With the support of the community, the center has evolved into a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to training and empowering visually impaired, blind, and Deaf-Blind individuals.
