Our Story
The Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children, established in 1976, has evolved from the Waco Rape Crisis Center into a comprehensive agency dedicated to supporting victims of crime through its three core programs: the Children’s Advocacy Center, The Victims Center, and Prevention and Education.
Impact
In the past year, the Advocacy Center has made a significant impact by providing 89 forensic medical examinations, 566 forensic interviews, and responding to 695 crisis hotline calls, assisting 1,134 victims with direct counseling and advocacy services.
