Our Story

Advantage Services, Inc., formerly known as Valley Services, Inc., was established in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supportive employment for individuals with mental health disabilities. Over the years, the organization has evolved into a robust social enterprise model, offering permanent employment opportunities to individuals with various disabilities and those facing significant barriers, such as homelessness or incarceration. By leveraging fee-for-service contracts, Advantage Services has maintained a sustainable financial model, with less than 1% of its $2.7 million annual revenue derived from grants or donations.

Our Impact

Advantage Services proudly maintains a workforce where over 70% of employees have a disability, and 80% live at low to moderate income levels. Collaborating with community partners and private companies, the organization fulfills its mission while providing essential employment opportunities.
