In 1958, Pastor David Wilkerson initiated a movement in New York City aimed at helping troubled youth and those grappling with addiction. This mission expanded to Texas in 1968 with the establishment of Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas, which now operates multiple centers dedicated to faith-based recovery and life transformation.
