Our Story
Adult Guardianship Services of Summit County (AGS) was established on January 1, 2022, evolving from the Summit County Probate Court's Volunteer Guardian program. Founded by Mary Ann Freedman and now directed by Carla Bayonnet, AGS is dedicated to serving indigent individuals who lack the financial means and support systems necessary to manage their affairs. With a focus on trained advocates and surrogate decision-makers, AGS ensures the safety and well-being of vulnerable community members.
